Retired in 2012 as Chair of the Department of Interior Architecture and Design, Florida State University to Chicago, IL. Have been married to my wife Sandy for 48 years this summer; have two sons (Kris and Karl) and 3 grandchildren. Was an architect for 10 years, but spent most of my career as an academic (teaching at UF, Virginia Tech and Florida State.) Sandy and I have tutored reading in elementary schools here and do background work on Chicago based TV shows such as Empire, Chicago Fire and Chicago Med.
