Directions: From town take JT Butler Blvd, or Beach Blvd, or Atlantic Blvd
To A1A/Third Street. Drive to the intersection of A1A/Third St
and Cedar St (there is a Traffic Light and the Beaches Library)
Turn East on Cedar St and come to the end...turn right/south and
we are the third house down...
Parking: We have a reserved parking lot behind our house which will
be marked. For those with medical/physical issues, there is
parking available near the front of the house...it will be
marked. There is also parking available on the west side of 1st
Street, until 10PM...only ½ block away from the house. There is
also parking available at the Beaches Library on Third St. and a
shuttle car will be marked with green and yellow balloons, and
will transport a participants back to the beach house...
Contact Info: In case you get lost or need to be picked up at the Library, text

Dress: Might check with the weather report since an ocean breeze
could present a chill (I hope)...a wind breaker would be great!
Please dress casual...it's the beach! Please no flip flops...we
we have stairs and safety is always foremost in everyone mind!

Dear Classmates,
Can you believe that the time for our celebration is almost here? We are going to have so much fun. Looking forward to seeing all of you soon. I do have a few updates that are important.
First, if you have signed on to the class website, please check there for any updates and other information. If you have not signed up, please do so. It is really fun way for us to keep in touch and it's very private. You don't have to worry like on Facebook. If you need help, Barbara Osgood and myself are administrators on the site and can walk you through the set up.
Now on to the event. Important details:
* Its CASUAL dress. Saturday night might be more RESORT CASUAL...not beach clothes.
* Guy's address is 710 OCEANFRONT, Neptune Beach. Parking might be a problem so the earlier you get there the better parking place. Guy has made arrangements for other parking and it will all work out. Remember it is BYOB.
* People coming from out of town... the address for the Omni is
39 Beach Lagoon Road, Fernandina Beach, FL 32034. This is the address you should put into your GPS to get you to the right gate at the plantation. I am giving them a list of all that are coming, so your name should already be at the gate.
We will meet at the Omni at 4:45 on Saturday to take the Trolley to the dock. (Adult beverages are included on Saturday in the price of the event.)
* If you have any problems or questions, please call or text me at 281-222-9875. I will be arriving in Jacksonville on Tuesday, May 16 to help with any problems that may arise.

Please dress RESORT CASUAL which is a step up from beach clothes and tennis shoes!!!
****I have had some people ask about the dress code for our weekend. It has not really been discussed, but I'm thinking CASUAL!! It's the BEACH and its's Florida. We will be outside at Guy's house and on the boat in Amelia Island. It could be cool so check the weather report. For men, I feel shorts are very appropriate. For women, we want to look our very best, so whatever you are comfortable in!! I'm thinking shorts, capris, or a sundress with a sweater in case it's cool. Please give me feedback on this! Definitely NOT fancy or cocktail!!!

The time is pretty flexible. Guy has said you can come early and enjoy the beach, but the party will start around 6:00.
If you have a guitar or banjo, please bring so we can have a songfest!!!
Saturday Tenative Timeline
Before 4:00 Enjoy the Beach and the resort. Many fun activities on the Island.
* 4:45 PM Meet at the Omni
* 5:00 PM Trolley pickup and overflow cars leave for the dock
* 5:30 PM Cruise leaves dock (H'oeuvres and cocktails on dock)
* 7:30 PM (approximate) return to dock and leave for Property Owners Club
* 8:00 Pm - Until... Sit down dinner at Property Owners Club. (Trams will return us to the Omni)
* After dinner entertainment at the Omni and/or visit with your friends
